Jeff has over 15 years of experience working closely with GPs, investment managers, and fund CFOs across private equity, venture capital, and hedge fund platforms. He has led core functions including fund operations, accounting, treasury, tax coordination, and investor reporting through both outsourced CFO engagements and senior finance leadership roles within investment firms.
Prior to founding Oakdene Advisors, Jeff was a Senior Director in the private equity and venture capital group at a leading outsourced CFO firm, where he advised investment managers on fund launches, operations, and institutional readiness. He also served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations at Castle Peak Holdings, an emerging private equity real estate platform focused on hospitality investments, and as Vice President at Maples Group, a global fund services firm where he focused on investment operations for non-profit endowment and foundation clients.
Jeff lives in Nova Scotia, Canada and outside of work, he's active in the local running community and enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and their son.
